Healing and growth happen in relationship. It’s our shared capacity that gives us room to be bold and brave.

Individual Counseling

Trauma, neurodivergence, and being marginalized are each complex experiences, even more so when they are layered on top of one another. Complex experiences require a deeply human understanding to navigate effectively.

Healing is a process of embracing all of who you are and what you’ve experienced, providing yourself with safety, love, belonging, and reconnecting to the strong inner truth about your worth and purpose.

I know it sounds like a lot but when we go slow, challenge unhealthy or ineffective survival strategies, and treat ourselves in new, loving ways, we can make big strides!

If you’re ready to begin the process reach out for a quick consultation. We can do the tough stuff, especially when we have support.

Mental Health Coaching

Coaching is different from counseling in that it focuses less on overcoming past challenge and more on supporting you in the present to take action for your future.

It can be tough being a ‘stranger in a strange land’ or the ‘ADHD abroad’ colleague. There’s so much that traveling, immigrating, or just existing in unexpected ways in new contexts can bring up. Coaching can get you clarity, concrete tools, and a sense of consistency to face it all.

We’ll build the short, mid, and long term goals to guide your efforts and make accountability and celebration a regular part of the work. Each nomad/immigrant/traveler’s story and struggles are unique, but living that life myself gives me a bit of insight so you won’t have to fight against the ‘wouldn’t it be easier’ bias.

*No Location Restrictions; $200/Session (Reduced Rates Available)

Clinical Supervision

We have often been encouraged to view supervision as a resource for navigating the crisis moments we might encounter with clients or as a requirement to reaching full licensure. And while it is those things, supervision can also provide us with space and guidance to really hone our work as providers.

You likely have a solid base of skill and theory but do you know how to bring your unique self to the work in an ethical and constructive way? Does your professional identity, case conceptualization, and clinical approach meet the complexities of the systems you and your clients exist in?

You don’t come to this work as a blank slate and why would you want to? The single most impactful aspect of counseling interventions is the relationship. And clients don’t relate to your skills, they relate to who you are and how you hold the relationship.

If you’re wanting a strengthen your understanding of who you are as a counselor and how to incorporate liberatory practices into your approach reach out for a consult.

*For licensure, Washington LMHCA only; for general supervisory support, LMHC/LMFT/LICSW; $200/2hrSession (Reduced Rates Available)

What Sets Our Work Apart

Invitational

We won’t bulldoze our way into the hard stuff. We will foster a trusting relationship with the protective parts within you so we are invited to go deeper.

Structural

You don’t exist in a vacuum. Your burnout isn’t solved with a vacation and your procrastination doesn’t need another planner. We will incorporate a recognition of societal factors into your work so you can make real progress.

Accountable

Our mind-body learns by doing not understanding; this is why some folks get stuck in counseling. We won’t rely on insight to build change, we will focus on putting insight into action.
