Being a healer, helper, or caregiver to others can be an emotionally complex and challenging experience.

Becoming a caregiver may have been your professional calling, a family role you needed to take on, or natural part of your identity. However you found yourself taking care of others you likely experience difficulty finding balance between your needs and the needs of those around you. It may be hard to recognize when you are spreading yourself too thin and what you need to overcome the exhaustion and stress.

Caregivers tend to be people who prioritize what those around them need first. It is really tricky to find that balance between supporting the people you care about and taking care of yourself, particularly when it feels like you are the only resource your care recipient can count on. The emotional impact and logistical difficulties that go along with this dedication can also lead to increased physical illness and emotional overwhelm, even to personal struggles with severe mental health problems like clinical depression or anxiety.

It is so important, for your health and wellness and for the well being of those around you, to seek out and maintain strong supports for yourself. In our work together, you will develop the tools you need to feel more centered, to have greater flexibility in responding to your day-to-day tasks, and to be more present in all areas of your life. We will figure out where you get stuck and create a strategy to overcome those obstacles to feel more confident, calm, and fulfilled.

With greater support, you can find greater ease. Let's start today!
